These terms cover your use of this website. They do not cover client engagements: any project with ARE Works is governed by a separate written proposal and agreement, and that agreement takes precedence over anything on this page.

What this site is

This site describes services offered by ARE Works, a studio based in San Diego, California. It is provided for information. Nothing here is an offer that binds either of us until it is set out in a signed proposal.

Prices and timelines

The prices and timelines shown are starting points for the scope described alongside them. Final price, scope, and schedule are confirmed in writing after we understand your project. We may change published prices at any time; a price already agreed in a signed proposal does not change.

Concept studies

Work shown under Concept Studies is self-initiated. The companies in it are fictional, the work was not commissioned, and no client relationship, business result, or completed construction project is implied.

No guaranteed outcomes

We build websites and the technical foundation that supports discovery. No studio can guarantee search rankings, inclusion in AI-generated answers, traffic, inquiries, or revenue, and we do not. Reviews described on this site are business and design assessments against agreed criteria — they are not legal advice and not a certification of compliance with any standard or regulation.

Intellectual property

The text, design, code, and images on this site belong to ARE Works or are used with permission. Please do not copy or republish them without asking. Rights to work produced for a client transfer as set out in that client's agreement.

Links to other sites

Where we link out, we do not control what is on the other end and are not responsible for it.

Liability

This site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, ARE Works is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
